Ram Kumar Shrestha

A professionally qualified Engineer with more than 15 years of work experience. Presently working as Structural Engineer with Gledsdale Associates Ltd in Sevenoaks, Kent, UK. Worked with TZG Partnership Croydon, UK and Ford Recruitment, UK. Interested in social activities: worked as Executive Member/ Project Engineer with Nepal National Ethnographic Museum, Executive Member with Society for Public Awareness in Nepal (SPAN), Vice President with Nepali Folk Musical Instruments’ Museum (with more than 200 Nepali Folk Musical Instruments), Vice president with Gorkha Social Service center etc. Interested in literature and published lots of articles, poems essays in different national newspapers and magazines. Initiated to publish “Matribhoomi“  from former USSR, “Everest Digest” and “Marga Darshan“ - the mouthpiece of Gorkha Social Service Center - from Nepal and worked as Editorial Board Member to publish “Paluwa” from former USSR, “Baja” – the mouthpiece of Nepali Folk Musical Instruments’ Museum - from Nepal, worked as Editorial Board Member to publish Souvenir after the International Conference with the objective to establish Nepal National Ethnographic Museum in Nepal in 200 ropani land provided by the government in Champadevi Kirtipur etc. Prepared Preliminary Master Plan for Nepal National Ethnographic Museum as part of the process to get 200 ropani land from cabinet. Worked as Consultant to design Mini Museum built in the first floor of Nepal Tourism Board.

This Home page was created specially to collect my published articles, stories, poems and travel essays in different on line papers, however; I started to post important information, news and received articles, poems as well due to increased visitors in my blog.
